Canon Wifi Printer Converting A Wifi Router Into A Wifi Printer Server?

Converting a wifi router into a wifi printer server? - canon wifi printer

OK, so I have a Canon printer with Muti is based on an Ethernet port, does a wireless network and a wireless router, but old. I need the printer to work wirelessly, but I will not buy a wireless print server.

Can I replace my old wireless router (Linksys WRT54G) to a print server or a bridge over the Ethernet port on the printer?

No, because the router does not communicate with other routers, because they are the source and not the customer. If your printer has an Ethernet port, why not just connect to an Ethernet port on the router.
