1) 1707 Market
Field quite well ... SOMA, Mission, Hayes Valley, Castro quid (all) are just a few blocks. But certainly very busy and loud (as it is right by the freeway ramp / Octavia) St. Above all, the location, near a restaurant very different shopping venues, bars, etc. .. Districts.

2) 2755 Lombard
Very safe, lots of restaurants, etc. .. Kind of annoying, but as the epicenter of yuppie San Francisco (if you do not seem to make at least $ 100,000 per year, many residents there is spiritual spit). But the truth is safe and near Presidio, which is good.

3) 10 Hallam Place
I had to watch this ... small side street. In the heart of SOMA (South of Market) ... Lot of nightlife, shops, etc. .. Almost certainly, the region and certainly not the most beautiful / most beautiful.

4 a.m. to 5 p.m.) 656 and 790 Ellis
Just one block from the other. Both are in the middle of the back, I am sure that you read in this forum. Reasonably safe area and very interesting / eclectic, but also rather shabby, dirty, etc. .. If you do not mind the homeless and drug addicts, is a fun and practical / Central District.

6) 1565 Broadway
Pacific Heights. Very rich and beautiful country. Mostly Victorian and Edwardian buildings and many hills, views, etc. .. However, because of the hills can be public transport is very limited.

7) 1 Richardson
I had to look at it, too ... As the No. 2 (these are just a few blocks) from each other.

Personally, I recommend # 1 (in practice a lot of progress, move easily, etc. .., but loud) or # 6 (nice, quiet, nice, etc. .., but) not too comfortable.
